  RARE NUGGETS OF EXPERIMENTAL CINEMA
To celebrate thirty years of the Paris Films Coop and Cinédoc
Friday October 24, 2oo3 at the Forum des Images

In 2004 we will celebrate 30 years of the Paris Films Coop and 25 years of Cinédoc. In anticipation of our celebrations, we will present a special set of programmes of experimental film rarities at the Forum des Images from 4pm –11pm.
24 October 2003
Four programmes that celebrate the never-ending reinvention of experimental cinema, in the hope you will wish to share our taste for radical and spell-binding cinematic adventure:

16H> 1: Films - Diaries
From 1937 to the present day, from France, Austria and the USA, fertile territories for the avant-garde.

17H45> 2: "The Decay of Fiction" according to Pat O'Neill

20H> 3: Chronophotography, Painting and Film
A range of insights into early cinema, in tribute to Marey
and Muybridge (2004 will commemorate the centenary of their deaths) and on painting as seen by filmmakers.
Henri Storck’s Le Monde de Delvaux and the paintings of Alister Crowley by Kenneth Anger.

21H30> 4 : Electronic Cinema, video art and digital images
